The Fort Walton Beach Jaycees started the BILLY BOWLEGS Festival in 1955 as a water skiing tournment.  Now it is grown and the Jaycees are still a part.  We particpate every year.  Look for our amazing vendor booth next to Fokkers this year and for our party float in the Torchlight Parade. See the chamber website for more details on the annual festival. 

The Fort Walton Beach Jaycees are Organized. (Taxable identity) 

United States Junior Chamber (Jaycees) gives young people between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves in the areas of business development, management skills, individual training, community service, and international connections.

The Fort Walton Beach Jaycees, Inc. are a charter club of the U.S. Junior Chamber and also a non-profit corporation/organization as described under IRS code 501(c)(4).

Our FWB Jaycees created an organization that is IRS code 501(c)(3) non-profit called the Fort Walton Beach Jaycees Foundation, Inc..  It's purpose is to serve the community with charitable giving and sponsor the activities of disaster releif in case of emergencies that could and have happened in our local area.
